
Armed assailants targeted the Military Intelligence (MI) office, a military supply vehicle, and the Frontier Corps’ (FC) central camp in separate attacks across Balochisatn Mand, Kharan, and Apsi Khan in Kech district.
According to sources, around midnight last night, armed men attacked the MI office located in Mand Blu, with sounds of heavy gunfire and explosions heard for a prolonged period during the assault.
Later today, around noon, armed assailants launched an attack on the central FC camp situated in the heart of Kharan city. Witnesses reported hearing two loud explosions followed by intense gunfire during the assault.
The attacks reportedly inflicted casualties and financial losses on the security forces, although authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the extent of casualties.
Meanwhile, around noon in Apsi Khan, a vehicle transporting supplies to a military camp struck a landmine, causing damage to the vehicle. Reports suggest the vehicle was carrying rations and other supplies intended for the military camp.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
