BLF Claims Responsibility for Attack on Mineral Transport Vehicles in Wadh

“We accept responsibility for the attack on vehicles transporting valuable minerals from Wadh, Khuzdar,” Major Gwahram Baloch, spokesperson for the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF).

He said that on the night of April 24 at 11:40 PM, BLF fighters targeted trucks loaded with valuable minerals between Loi and Gadyaro in Wadh, Khuzdar. These trucks were involved in the plundering of Baloch resources. However, the drivers were released unharmed due to their Baloch identity.

He added that to aid the exploitation and looting of Balochistan’s coast and resources, the Pakistani military has formed armed militias under the guise of so-called “peace forces” in various regions of Balochistan. These groups are intended to enrich Punjab through the extraction of Baloch resources while keeping the Baloch nation impoverished. The military has been using these armed groups to intimidate locals and suppress the Baloch independence movement.

He further stated that to maintain the writ of the occupying state and counter the Baloch freedom fighters, a new so-called peace force has recently been established in Naal under the leadership of Shahmeer Bizenjo, son of Sardar Aslam Bizenjo.

“As a responsible national organization,” he warned, “we use this platform to warn the members of this so-called peace force to refrain from serving the interests of the military and local mafia. If they are found participating in any activity against ordinary Baloch people or freedom fighters, they will be targeted.”

The Balochistan Liberation Front accepts responsibility for the attack on vehicles involved in the looting of Baloch minerals in Wadh. They also warn all truck owners to refrain from being part of this exploitative program.
