15 Balochistan Levies Personnel Dismissed for Absenteeism, Misconduct, and Defiance of Orders

Quetta: According to an official order issued by the Director General of Balochistan Levies Force in Quetta, 15 personnel have been dismissed from service due to continuous absenteeism, negligence of duty, disorderly conduct, and disobedience of superior orders.

The dismissed personnel were part of the CPEC Wing and SSEP Wing, and had been stationed across various districts of Balochistan, including Sibi, Surab, Khuzdar, Turbat, and Panjgur. They had been assigned to provide security from Quetta to Jafarabad for Pakistan Railways, but remained absent from duty without prior notice or permission.

According to the department, their unauthorized absence caused disruption, administrative issues, and a culture of insubordination, which ultimately affected the overall performance of the Levies Force.

The names of the dismissed personnel are as follows:

  • Khaliq Dad (Sibi)
  • Zaheer Ahmed (Sibi)
  • Gul Muhammad (Sibi)
  • Yasir Ahmed (Surab)
  • Zaheer Ahmed (Khuzdar)
  • Zahid Ahmed (Khuzdar)
  • Abid Hussain (Khuzdar)
  • Abdul Hafeez (Khuzdar)
  • Sagheer Ahmed (Turbat)
  • Sadiq Safar (Turbat)
  • Saeed Ahmed (Turbat)
  • Jalal Murad (Turbat)
  • Tanveer Ahmed (Panjgur)
  • Muhammad Hussain (Panjgur)
  • Sajid Ali (Panjgur)

The order, signed by DG Levies Abdul Ghaffar Magsi, directs all concerned departments to immediately halt the salaries of the dismissed personnel, stating they will no longer be part of any government service.

Sources informed Zrumbesh that this action is part of a broader crackdown within the Levies Force to address increasing disorder and irresponsibility, particularly in the face of rising and organized operations by Baloch insurgents.
