In the Gomazi area of Tump, district Kech, armed assailants targeted a Pakistani forces checkpost in a late-night assault that involved multiple explosions and heavy gunfire, according to local sources.
Reports indicate that the attack was carried out on a checkpost established at the home of martyred Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) fighter, Captain Jahangir alias Jabbar. The house had been seized by Pakistani forces after forcibly evicting the family and converted into a military post, which has reportedly been in use for several years.
During the attack, loud explosions and sustained gunfire were heard across the surrounding areas, creating panic among the local population. While unconfirmed reports suggest casualties and financial losses on the part of the forces, no group has officially claimed responsibility for the assault yet.
