In the Mand area of district Kech, unknown armed men launched an attack on a local police station and seized all weapons and equipment present at the site.
According to reports, the assailants stormed the police station located at Grid Bazaar around 8:30 PM. After taking full control of the premises, they confiscated all military-grade weapons and other supplies before leaving the area.
Remarkably, the attackers released the police personnel after issuing a warning, without causing them any physical harm.
Such attacks on military, police, and Levies posts have been occurring frequently in Balochistan, with various Baloch armed pro-independence groups often claiming responsibility. However, no group has claimed responsibility for this particular attack so far.
