Duki: CTD and Pakistani Forces Claim Killing of Five Individuals in Joint Operation

Pakistani forces and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) have claimed to have killed five individuals during a joint operation in the Dubbar mountain area of B-Area, located in the Duki district of Balochistan.

According to security sources, the bodies of the deceased were shifted to Civil Hospital Duki and later sent to Quetta after initial procedures. However, the identities of the slain individuals have not yet been confirmed, and no armed group has issued a statement regarding the incident so far.

It is important to note that most of the CTD’s past claims have later been challenged by political and social activists as well as the families of the victims, who labeled them as fake encounters. In several such cases, the victims were previously reported as forcibly disappeared persons who had been in the custody of security forces.
