Balochistan: Renowned young poet Nabeel Nod Baloch, who was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Gwadar, has safely returned home. Meanwhile, two underage boys have been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Dera Bugti.
Nabeel Nod Baloch was subjected to enforced disappearance on March 23 from the “Do Best Panjah” area of Gwadar. He was taken by Pakistani intelligence agencies and transported to an undisclosed location. According to sources, he has now returned home safely.
In a separate incident today, two minor boys were forcibly disappeared in broad daylight in the Sui tehsil of Dera Bugti. Local residents report that personnel affiliated with Pakistan’s ISI and death squads detained 13-year-old Muhammad Hayat, son of Tola Bugti, and a boy named Sewa, son of Nari Bugti, from a local hotel.
Both minors were reportedly transferred to an unknown location, and their whereabouts remain unknown.
These incidents highlight the continued pattern of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, where civilians including children and prominent figures are targeted by state forces with impunity.
