Dr. Sabiha Baloch, the leader of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, stated on social media:
“My father, Mir Bashir Ahmad, was taken to the SP office in Hub, not because of any crime, but because of my political stance. They told him that he would only be released if I surrender myself for arrest.”
She continued, “This is not law enforcement, it is blatant political blackmail. When the state fails to silence a voice, it starts targeting the loved ones of that voice. My father and family have been harassed repeatedly due to my political activities.”
Dr. Sabiha Baloch added, “But fascism forgets that ideas do not reside in homes that can be raided. Ideas live in hearts that refuse to bow down.”
“We cannot be silenced.”
