Mastung (Monitoring Desk) Central leader of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, Dr. Sabiha Baloch, while addressing the ongoing “Tahaffuz-e-Baloch-Namoos” sit-in organized by the Balochistan National Party (BNP) at Lakpass, Mastung on Friday.
She Said, “When we say ‘Balochistan’, a sparkle appears in everyone’s eyes, our hearts feel joy. This is the love that unites all of us, the love that turns people’s chests into Bolan and strengthens their spirits like Chiltan.”
She added, “The life we are living today is not a life, where at every crossroad we are asked: ‘Where are you coming from? Where are you going?’”
“This is not a life where we are forced to lift dead bodies every day. This is not a life where we are constantly searching for our forcibly disappeared brothers. This is not a life where outsiders ask us: ‘Who are you? What is your identity? Where are you from? What are you doing here?’”
She declared, “We stand here with the hope that we will awaken our entire nation and we will not give the enemy a chance to escape.”
“We will bury all the thoughts of our enemy here. We will bury this corrupt, thieving, shameless and immoral system along with all the habits it has imposed on us.”
Dr. Sabiha Baloch said, “It is our duty to give our children and our people that awareness, that they rise for their land, for their nation. Today, women are consciously part of this struggle. They understand that when war knocks at your door, it does not care whether you are a woman or a man.”
She repeated with strength, “We stand with the hope of awakening our whole nation, and we will not let the enemy flee from here.”
“We know how many hardships lie on this path. We know that we have put our hands into burning coals and we might get scorched. We know this journey is filled with trials. But we also know how beautiful the destination is. We know how precious and beautiful the Balochistan is that we are struggling for.”
She concluded, “They call us emotional. They say we haven’t seen the enemy. But we say: You haven’t seen the power of unity. You haven’t seen what it looks like when a person gives up all their comforts, their life, their good days for the nation and in return, the nation never leaves them alone.”
