Pakistan’s Atrocities in Balochistan: Enforced Disappearances, Torture, and Custodial Killings Persist. Dr. Naseem Baloch

Zrumbesh News
Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), Dr. Naseem Baloch, has strongly condemned Pakistan’s ongoing human rights violations in Balochistan, highlighting enforced disappearances, custodial killings and state repression. In a series of posts on social media platform X, he criticized the Pakistani military for its brutal actions, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

Dr. Naseem Baloch stated that Pakistan’s atrocities in Balochistan continue with enforced disappearances, torture and custodial killings. Referring to the enforced disappearance and brutal killing of four Baloch youth in Mashkay, he described it as not just a loss of innocent lives but a profound violation of human dignity. He questioned whether the world has the conscience to listen to the cries of the Baloch people and urged global powers to demand accountability for Pakistan’s actions.

He also condemned the recent statement by the Director-General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), accusing the Pakistani Forces of attempting to normalize enforced disappearances by comparing them to general missing persons cases worldwide. He emphasized that Baloch activists, students and civilians are taken in broad daylight by Pakistani security forces, often in the presence of their families and friends.

Dr. Naseem Baloch further criticized Pakistan’s response to the issue, stating that when families and human rights groups protest and demand accountability, the authorities either deny involvement, refuse to disclose the whereabouts of their loved ones, or use force against the protesters.
