In Quetta’s Jail Road area, unidentified motorcycle riders opened fire, severely injuring retired Pakistani Army Lieutenant Colonel Habib.
Rescue teams immediately transferred him to a nearby hospital, where he received initial medical treatment before being referred to CMH Quetta.
Police and security agencies have collected evidence from the scene and launched an investigation. However, the motive behind the attack and the identity of the assailants remain unknown.
The attackers fled the scene after the incident.
