January 25 Names as “Baloch Genocide Remembrance Day”, Public Gathering Will be held in Dalbandin. BYC

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) held a press conference today in “Dasht Kabristan” a cemetery in Mastung, to highlight the ongoing Baloch genocide and state atrocities in Balochistan.

Hundreds of Baloch individuals, enforcedly disappeared by Pakistan’s military and intelligence agencies, have been subjected to brutal torture and killed, their mutilated bodies buried as ‘unknown’ across Balochistan.

To honor these victims, and those who have been killed in policies of Baloch Genocide, BYC has declared January 25 as “Baloch Genocide Remembrance Day” . On this day, a huge public gathering will be organized in Dalbandin city, alongside online campaigns and publications to raise international awareness.

All Baloch masses and supporters are urged to join hands in remembrance and resistance.

They said that “the state of Pakistan is genocidating the Baloch nation on the basis of their identity, mutilating their bodies and burying them as “unknown”, all of which are part of a systematic plan, which aims to make the Baloch nation to be wiped off from its own earth.

The BYC leader said, “In the meeting of the central committee of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee on January 5th, it was decided that January 25 will be observed as “Baloch Genocide Remembrance Day” – on this occasion in Dalbandin, Balochistan. A grand public meeting will be held in.

All zones of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee were directed to start preparations for a general meeting in Dalbandin, this day is not only a commitment to the struggle of the Baloch nation, but an opportunity to awaken the conscience of the entire world, to stop the Baloch genocide.

It should be recognized at the national and international level and immediate steps should be taken to stop it.
