Balochistan Liberation Front’s Spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch released a media statement claiming two incidents In Barkhan and Mastung, “Baloch fighters destroyed a mobile tower by gunfire and setting it ablaze in Barkhan, meanwhile in Mastung, they disarmed Levies personnel and allowed them to leave after seizing their weapons.On October 23 at 7 p.m., in the Biber Tik Jandaran Koh area of Barkhan, a Ufone mobile tower, along with its machinery, was attacked with gunfire and subsequently set on fire.
He added “In a second attack on October 28 at 1 p.m., in the Khadkocha area of Mastung, Levies personnel were disarmed while on patrol. The Baloch fighters left the personnel unharmed as an act of humanity and as a gesture towards their Baloch identity.
BLF Claims that the increased installation of mobile towers in select areas of Balochistan is intended to monitor the movements and activities of Baloch fighters. In this era, Baloch fighters are targeting state projects with limited resources, which demonstrates their success.
BLF has repeatedly warned active Baloch personnel in the Levies and police forces to avoid pursuing or obstructing Baloch fighters and supporting the oppressive state machinery by providing fuel for its operations. Otherwise, the BLF will target Levies and police in the same way it targets Pakistan’s ruthless army, intelligence agencies, and their local collaborators and informants.The occupying state’s gun symbolizes its oppression, and by arming local personnel, it aims to create the impression that its colonial oppression and exploitation have local support. These local gunmen are used to support Baloch genocide and reinforce the occupation.
BLF Spokesperson warned that, they don’t permit anyone to become an accomplice of the occupying state under the guise of employment or duty by turning their guns on Baloch fighters or the Baloch people. Once again, we urge our compatriots to refuse to use the state-provided weapon against the Baloch nation or humanity and to instead play a constructive role for their people.
The Balochistan Liberation Front assures the Baloch nation that it will hold all entities involved in Baloch genocide accountable.The BLF claimed responsibility for both operations and reaffirms its commitment to target occupying forces and their collaborators until the goal of an independent Balochistan is achieved.
