KHUZDAR, BALOCHISTAN: One person was killed and another injured after the death squad opened fire in the Gresha area of Khuzdar.
According to sources, the incident occurred on September 17, 2026, when the deceased, identified as Alim Khan, son of Dad Bakhsh and the injured, identified as Barkat, son of Azeem Khan, were on their way to attend a wedding ceremony. Both are residents of Sahirdoop, Gresha. The death squad opened fire on them, killing one and injuring the other.
The source further said that the injured is in serious condition.
The notorious death squad operating in Balochistan, under the patronage of the Pakistani Army, abducts and kills civilians and political activists. This group, sanctioned by the state, carries out robberies, abductions, and other unlawful activities in the areas where they operate. Working under the Pakistani Army’s protection, they loot passengers and target political workers with violence.
