Multiple Attacks on Pakistani Forces Across Balochistan

QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Reports have emerged of armed attacks and explosions targeting convoys, vehicles, and checkpoints of Pakistani forces in various areas of Balochistan, with initial reports indicating that several personnel have been killed or injured, while a number of military vehicles have sustained damage.

At Ziarat Cross, a convoy of Pakistani forces is reported to have been targeted in an armed attack. Initial reports claim that two vehicles were destroyed in the attack, including one military truck, while approximately 15 personnel are claimed to have been killed. Some sources have further claimed that the attackers also seized the weapons of the personnel.

Separately, in the Hajika area of Surab, there are also reports of a Pakistani forces convoy being targeted through explosives planted in a vehicle. According to initial reports, two vehicles were damaged, with one completely destroyed and the other partially damaged.

Reports indicate that 10 personnel were killed or injured as a result of the explosion, though the final number of dead and injured could not be immediately confirmed.

According to reports, internet service has been suspended in Surab since last night, while reports have also been received of network services being shut down in Khuzdar and Kalat.

Near Ziarat Cross, there is also a report of an attack on the squad of the Deputy Commissioner of Harnai. Some reports state that two armed individuals were injured in the incident. Further details of this incident have not yet emerged.

There are also reports of an ambush by armed individuals on a convoy of Pakistani forces on the Quetta-Karachi main highway in the Goru area of Mastung. It has not been immediately clear how many casualties or how much damage resulted from the attack.

Meanwhile, in the Kashangi area of Noshki, there is a report of vehicles associated with the Saindak project also being targeted by armed individuals. Further information about the nature of the incident and possible casualties is not immediately available.

There is also a report of an attack on a checkpoint of Pakistani forces between Tump, Gomazi, and Mallant in Kech district. According to local reports, at least five explosions were heard in the area. However, the nature of the explosions, possible casualties, and damage to the checkpoint could not be confirmed.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for these attacks.
