
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Armed Men Blockade and Set Vehicles Ablaze in Chagai; Clashes Erupt with Pakistani Forces in Manguchar
According to the source, in the Chagai district near Charsar, armed men carried out a blockade and set two trucks traveling from Quetta to Dalbandin on fire.
The attackers targeted the vehicles during the blockade, causing significant disruption. Upon receiving the report of this incident, security forces immediately launched a clearance operation to secure the area, according to police sources.
Meanwhile, in Manguchar tehsil of Kalat, an exchange of fire broke out between armed militants and Pakistani security forces on the national highway. During the confrontation, a passerby named Naik Muhammad, son of Fazal Muhammad from the Bariech tribe, was injured by gunfire. He was promptly transferred to the Rural Health Center (RHC) Manguchar for medical treatment, police confirmed.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
