TURBAT: Three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were injured in an armed attack on an FC road-searching team in the Hiraabad area of Turbat, Kech district.
According to officials, the incident occurred in the morning while FC personnel were conducting road searching and security checking in the area. During this time, six armed men riding three motorcycles approached the team, first throwing a hand grenade before opening fire.
FC personnel returned fire, following which the attackers fled the scene. The injured personnel were shifted to a local hospital for medical treatment. Further details regarding their condition have not yet been released.
