GWADAR, BALOCHISTAN; Two More Youths Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces in Jiwani

According to reports from Jiwani, Pakistani forces took a young man into custody and forcibly disappeared him from Balochistan’s coastal town of Jiwani last night, July 23, 2026. The disappeared man has been identified as Moazzam, son of Abdul Majeed, a resident of the Labadi area of Jiwani.

Separately, sources said personnel from Pakistani intelligence agencies forcibly disappeared Adnan, son of Rezai, from the nearby Peshokan area the same night.

It is worth noting that Adnan’s father, Rezai, was also forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in 2012, whose mutilated body was later found dumped and that this is not an isolated case in the area on July 21, 2026, Pakistani forces had similarly raided Jiwani’s Dashti Bazaar area, forcibly disappearing four Baloch men during house-to-house searches in which women and children were reportedly subjected to violence. Those disappeared were identified as Mohsin, son of Majeed, Yaqoob, son of Majeed, Haseeb, son of Asghar and Sameer, son of Khalid.

With these latest two cases, at least six men have been reported forcibly disappeared from the Jiwani area in the span of three days.
