
PANJGUR, BALOCHISTAN: Pakistani forces have subjected five young men to enforced disappearance in the Panjgur, Balochistan in two separate incidents, leaving their families without any information about their whereabouts.
In the first incident, two young men identified as Saadullah son of Ghulam Jan and Ziyab son of Kahoda Karim Jan were taken into custody by Pakistani forces on June 15 from Kahoda Hakeem Bazaar in the Paroom area. According to local sources, both men were present at their shop when forces conducted an operation and detained them. Following their arrest, they were transferred to an unknown location and no information about their condition or whereabouts has been received since.
Their families confirmed that the two young men were forcibly disappeared on June 15 and said that despite their efforts, they have been unable to obtain any information from the authorities regarding the fate of their loved ones.
In a second incident, Pakistani forces detained three more individuals from the Ligork area of Paroom and subsequently disappeared them. The three men have been identified as Aziz son of Hassan, Siddiq son of Jan Mohammad, and Latif son of Haji Hashim, all residents of Ligork in the Paroom area.
According to local sources, the three men were taken from their homes early in the morning and no information about their whereabouts has emerged since.
