QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Armed attackers have targeted Pakistani forces and fuel tankers in two separate incidents in Mastung and Noshki districts of Balochistan, while a major highway was blocked for several hours in the Ornach area of Khuzdar, according to regional sources.
In Mastung, armed individuals targeted a Pakistani forces convoy with a bomb blast at the Bypass area. Reports indicate that one vehicle in the convoy was struck by the explosion, causing both human casualties and material damage to the Pakistani forces. Following the attack, additional security personnel cordoned off the area and suspended all movement in and out of the locality. The exact number of casualties has not been officially confirmed.
In a separate incident in Noshki, two fuel tankers were attacked by armed individuals near an FC post at the Noshki Station area early this morning. According to regional sources, the attackers targeted the tankers on the Quetta–Taftan main highway before fleeing in an unknown direction. The attack caused damage to both vehicles and resulted in hours-long blockade of the central highway, disrupting traffic and movement in the area.
Meanwhile, in the Ornach area of Khuzdar, armed individuals took control of the Quetta–Karachi highway at the Ali Koh location, imposing a blockade for several hours. During this time, vehicles passing through the area were searched before traffic was eventually allowed to resume.
