QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) carried out a meticulously planned and coordinated guerrilla operation in the historic town of Naal in Khuzdar.

According to the BLF spokesperson, Major Gwahram Baloch, the operation resulted in the killing of 33 Pakistani military personnel, the destruction of two gunship helicopters, two quadcopters, multiple armored vehicles, mobile towers, and economic installations.

Major Gwahram Baloch said the battle, which began precisely at 12:00 noon, involved various units of fighters advancing in multiple stages to seize control of Naal. He said that one day prior to the attack, BLF fighters disabled five mobile towers in and around Naal to paralyze enemy communications.

The fighters of Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) established Blockades on the CPEC roead on the Main highway.

He further said that simultaneous blockades were established on key roads, including the CPEC road at Khuzdar and Greshag, and on the main highway to Karachi, effectively isolating the city. To protect civilians, the fighters gathered local residents and warned them of the impending military operation.

The spokesperson said the fighters successfully shot down an enemy surveillance quadcopter early in the operation and targeted economic installations by setting fire to a precious stone factory and weighing scale, severely disrupting resource extraction efforts.

Major Gwahram Baloch explained that the ground assault saw fierce fighting at the Crush Plant area, where BLF fighters destroyed an enemy armored vehicle and killed five soldiers. The battle expanded to encircle Naal’s central bazaar and military camp, with simultaneous attacks on the Levies and police stations, destroying the Levies station building and killing nine out of ten personnel stationed there.

In Operation-Naal BLF fighters targeted an enemy armored vehicle with rockets, killing five military personnel, and forced the armored vehicle to retreat.

He said that one Levies personnel was captured, and another enemy quadcopter was shot down during the operation. When Pakistani forces attempted to advance from their main camp, fighters lying in ambush killed seven soldiers and forced the rest to retreat.

Major Gwahram Baloch said, in response to the ground defeat, the Pakistani Army deployed armored vehicles and five gunship helicopters with elite SSG commandos. These helicopters shelled five locations indiscriminately within Naal Bazaar.

The gunship helicopter shot down by BLF fighters was seen engulfed in thick smoke.

He further said that BLF fighters launched a fierce counterattack against the helicopters at Naghad, Parch Hotel, and Hetichak, successfully shooting down two gunship helicopters and killing 12 elite SSG commandos in the process.

The spokesperson emphasized that the battle lasted five continuous hours, resulting in a humiliating defeat for the Pakistani occupying forces. He said that despite official claims attributing helicopter downing to technical failures, eyewitnesses and BLF-recorded videos irrefutably prove the helicopters were shot down by BLF fighters.

Notably, even though BLF had not yet claimed the attack at the time, the video of the gunship helicopter went viral during the BLF operation.

Major Gwahram Baloch said the operation was not merely a demonstration of military strength but part of a broader political strategy to achieve Baloch sovereignty, protect national identity, and uphold human dignity. He condemned local collaborators aligned with the Pakistani state, stating their role in the systematic exploitation and genocide of the Baloch people would no longer be tolerated.

He further stated that the Battle of Naal symbolizes the spirit of Baloch resistance and serves as clear evidence of the weakening grip of Pakistan’s colonial authority in the region. The BLF remains committed to continuing operations until the independence of Balochistan and the protection of Baloch national identity are achieved.

All BLF fighters reportedly returned safely to their bases after the successful operation, reinforcing their resolve to continue the struggle.
