Heavy Casualties Reported as Pakistani Military Convoys Ambushed in Mashkay

AWARAN, BALOCHISTAN: Armed attackers targeted a Pakistani military convoy in the Shariki area of Mashkay tehsil, Awaran district, Balochistan, with reports indicating a significant number of casualties among security personnel.

According to sources, after the initial attack on the first convoy, a second military convoy dispatched as reinforcement was also ambushed, triggering intense exchanges of gunfire in the area.

Reports indicate that the Pakistani military suffered heavy casualties in the back-to-back attacks. The bodies of killed soldiers and wounded personnel were subsequently airlifted by helicopter to Baziya Camp.

No armed group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. Pakistani authorities have also not issued any official confirmation of the death toll at the time of publication.
