KECH, BALOCHISTAN: Unknown armed individuals attacked a construction company working on the Turbat-Mand Highway in the Lallen Nasirabad area of Turbat, Kech, Balochistan, leaving four labourers wounded and one company vehicle destroyed by fire.
According to sources, the attack took place at the Lallen location on the Turbat-Mand Highway where armed individuals opened fire on the construction company site. During the ensuing exchange of fire, four labourers sustained injuries. A vehicle belonging to the construction company was also set ablaze by the attackers during the assault.
The four wounded labourers were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment. The condition of the injured has not been officially confirmed at the time of publication.
Following the attack, security forces and law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene and launched a search operation across the area. Further investigation into the incident is currently underway by the relevant authorities.
No armed group has claimed responsibility for the attack at the time of publication. Authorities have not yet issued any official statement regarding the incident.
