Two Men Disappear After CTD Raid in Quetta Neighbourhood, Families Demand Answers

QUETTA: Two young men from the Kili Qambrani area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, have reportedly been subjected to enforced disappearance after being taken into custody by personnel of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).

According to source, the disappaered individuals have been identified as Siraj Qambrani, son of Ghani, and Lal Khan, son of Jafar Qambrani. According to reports, CTD personnel detained both men from their homes on 24 April 2026 and transferred them to an undisclosed location, after which no information regarding their whereabouts or condition has surfaced.

Family members have confirmed the incident and demanded the immediate and safe recovery of both individuals from the relevant authorities. No official statement or acknowledgement has been issued by the CTD or any government authority at the time of publication.
