QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: A sit-in protest demanding the release of nursing student Khadija Baloch entered its seventh consecutive day on Tuesday outside the Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) in Quetta, as her family continued their vigil for the seventh day running with no word on her whereabouts.
Khadija Baloch, a nursing student at Bolan Medical Complex, was taken into custody seven days ago under circumstances that remain officially unconfirmed. No FIR or legal documentation regarding her detention has been made public by the authorities.

According to BYC Quetta Zone, Khadija Baloch has now been in detention for seven days. The organisation described her enforced disappearance as part of the ongoing Baloch genocide. Notably, her university examinations began on Tuesday, yet she remains in custody and unable to appear for her exams.

Family members present at the sit-in expressed deep concern over the fact that Khadija has not been produced before any court since her detention. Relatives warned that rather than being processed through legal channels, she may potentially be subjected to a media trial, a prospect they described as deeply alarming.

Protesters demanded that Khadija Baloch be immediately brought before the public and produced before a court in accordance with the law. No official statement acknowledging her detention or providing any information on her legal status had been issued by the authorities at the time of publication.
