
QUETTA : The Balochistan Liberation Front has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks in Kolwah, Jhao and Besima areas of Balochistan, according to a statement Issued its spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch.
In the statement, the group said its members targeted a Pakistani military convoy in the Geshkour area of Kolwah, Awaran on April 22, 2026. It claimed that the convoy was moving between military camps when it was ambushed, resulting in casualties and damage to vehicles.
The BLF further said that six personnel were killed and several others injured in the incident.
In a separate claim, the group said its members carried out a grenade attack on a Frontier Corps checkpoint near the Besima Police Station on the same day, resulting in injuries and damage to a vehicle.
The statement also claimed responsibility for another attack carried out on April 19, 2026, in the Gajro Singeen area of Jhao, where military personnel at a checkpoint were targeted using heavy weapons, resulting in casualties.
The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claimed responsibility for all three attacks.
