BALOCHISTAN: Reports from Zamran that armed militants attacked a supply convoy of Pakistani forces today, destroying vehicles and cutting off the supplies destined for the camp. Following the incident, widespread drone flights were observed in the area, causing heightened fear and tension among the local population.
Meanwhile, in Jhal Magsi, Armed men seized control of a government-supported group’s (Death Squad) checkpoint in the Gandawah area. The attackers took members of the group hostage, confiscated their weapons, and set the checkpoint on fire. However, following appeals by women, the militants released the detained personnel.
In another development from Jhal Magsi, armed militants took over the Levies Force’s Shoran checkpoint, confiscating weapons and motorcycles from the stationed personnel. Concurrently, in Zamran’s Konardan and Nawano areas, militants seized and torched two supply vehicles carrying rations for Pakistani forces.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for these attacks. However, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) had previously taken responsibility for similar incidents in Jhal Magsi, including seizing control of two Levies Force checkpoints, and for attacks on supply vehicles in Kharan and Panjgur.
Authorities have not provided any detailed statements regarding these recent events.
