Pakistani Forces Lay Siege to Noshki City, Seal Entry and Exit Points

Army check post in the city

NOSHKI: Pakistani security forces have cordoned off the city of Noshki in Balochistan, blocking all entry and exit points and restricting movement in and out of the area, local sources reported.

According to sources, early this morning, hundreds of security personnel were deployed across multiple locations, including Noshki Bazaar, Qaziabad, the Grid Station area, Ghareebabad and surrounding neighbourhoods. Civilians have reportedly been prevented from moving freely in these areas.

According to reports, a day earlier, forces had also surrounded the Killi Qadirabad area of Noshki for several hours, during which gunfire was heard.

Reports of disappearances have emerged following the deployment of Pakistani forces, though no identities have been confirmed.
