QUETTA: In two separate shooting incidents in Balochistan, three people were killed two in Quetta and one in the Kech, Balochistan.
On Sariab Road in Quetta, two young men belonging to the Jatoi tribe were shot dead. The victims have been identified as Riaz Jatoi and Naseer Ahmed, sons of Abdul Fateh Jatoi. Initial reports suggest the killings were the result of tribal rivalry. Following the incident, the bodies were taken to Sandeman Hospital in Quetta, where a large number of Jatoi tribe members gathered.
Meanwhile, in the Kech’s Tump Gomazi area, gunmen riding in a vehicle opened fire and killed one person. Local sources identified the deceased as Izzat, son of Ghulam Qadir.
It is said that the attackers were affiliated with a government-backed armed group locally known as the “Death Squad.”
Authorities are investigating both incidents.
