Mastung: Drone Strike in Kardigap Leaves One Youth Dead, Women Injured

MASTUNG: Reports have emerged of drone strike during an ongoing operation by Pakistani forces in the Kardigap area of Mastung , resulting in the death of a youth and injuries to several women.

According to local sources, a house in Gargina Killi Musa Khan was targeted by a quadcopter drone. As a result, Abdul Samad was critically injured, while women present inside the house also sustained injuries.

Sources stated that the injured Abdul Samad was shifted to Quetta for medical treatment; however, he later succumbed to his injuries.

The incident comes amid heightened tensions in the area. Earlier, the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) had claimed attacks in Kardigap, saying that several Pakistani forces personnel, including Special Services Group (SSG) commandos, were killed. Reports suggest that at least six fatalities have been confirmed.

Following those incidents, sources indicate that security forces have continued operations in the area. Drone and helicopter activity has reportedly been observed during the ongoing operation.
