Zahoor Buledi, in response to a statement by BNM Chairman Dr. Naseem Baloch on the occasion of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s death anniversary, said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was responsible for the killing of thousands of Baloch in Balochistan. He stated that Bhutto’s name is associated with blood, oppression, and collective suffering. He added that commemorating his death anniversary is considered an insult to the thousands of Baloch who were killed, displaced, or silenced during state operations carried out in his time. He said that Baloch do not pay tribute to their killer.
Zahoor Buledi, in response to Dr. Naseem Baloch, stated that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto granted provincial status to Balochistan and played a role in forming the NAP government, while also claiming that the provincial minister is telling complete lies. He said that Balochistan was granted provincial status at the time when military ruler General Yahya Khan abolished the One Unit system. According to him, Bhutto had no role in either the formation of the NAP government or in granting provincial status to Balochistan; however, dissolving the NAP government and imposing Governor’s Rule in Balochistan was Bhutto’s achievement, after which a military operation was launched across Balochistan, in which thousands of Baloch were killed, imprisoned and entire villages were destroyed, as stated by the BNM chairman in his post in response to the provincial minister. shared on social media platform X.
