SURAB: In the Anjira Cross area of Surab, unidentified armed men attacked heavy vehicles, causing significant damage.
Authorities claimed that the vehicles were transporting machinery for the PDMA from Karachi when they were targeted by the armed assailants, resulting in damage to both the vehicles and the machinery.
According to police sources, the attackers fired at the vehicles and targeted the tires, rendering them inoperative. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in the incident.
Security forces and police rapidly arrived at the scene following the attack and cordoned off the area.
Police stated that the attackers managed to escape after the firing, but a search operation has been launched in the area to apprehend them.
