GWADAR: A young man from Gwadar was killed and another person injured in an drone strike near Iranian territorial waters, according to local sources.
Sources said the victim, identified as Tayyab, belonged to the Ganz area of Gwadar and was traveling to Iran by sea when the incident occurred near the Iranian coastal area of Korgot. The drone strike reportedly hit the boat, killing Tayyab on the spot and injuring his companion.
According to reports, the body of the deceased youth has been brought back to his hometown of Ganz, where grief has spread among family members and local residents.
Sources said the attack took place near the coastline within Iranian territory. However, further details about the incident and any official statement from authorities have not yet been released.
