Truck Driver Killed in FC Firing Near Checkpost in Wadh

KHUZDAR: A truck driver was killed in a firing incident near a security checkpost in the Sehkro area of Wadh, according to local residents.

The incident occurred near the Shohada Checkpost when a truck was passing through the area. Witnesses said that personnel of the Frontier Corps opened fire directly at the moving truck after the driver reportedly failed to give way.

As a result of the firing, the driver sustained gunshot wounds and was critically injured. He later succumbed to his injuries at the scene, eyewitnesses said.

According to witnesses, Frontier Corps personnel left the area after the incident.

Local residents have demanded a transparent investigation into the incident and action against those responsible.
