US/IRAN: The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has warned that Iran could face intensified attacks, saying the U.S. military is considering new targets amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
In a statement posted on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump said Iran would be “hit very hard,” adding that U.S. forces were reviewing additional areas and individuals that had not previously been targeted.
Trump also claimed that Iran had apologized to neighboring countries and pledged not to attack them again, attributing the move to pressure from military operations by the United States and Israel.
Despite the reported pledge, regional security concerns continued. A drone reportedly fell near Dubai International Airport, while Qatar said it had intercepted a missile.
Meanwhile, the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, stated that Iran would only target neighboring countries if attacks against Iran originated from their territory. According to Iranian authorities, the directive aims to avoid escalation with regional states unless their land is used for military operations against Iran.
In a separate development, the Ministry of Intelligence of Iran warned citizens against sending war footage or sensitive information to foreign satellite channels and online media outlets outside the country. The ministry described such activities as cooperation with hostile actors during wartime and warned of legal consequences.
The statements from both Washington and Tehran come amid rising tensions and fears that the conflict could expand further across the Middle East.
