QUETTA: At least four people, including a child, were killed and one injured in separate incidents of firing and accidental drowning in Hub, Dera Bugti and Turbat, officials said.
In Hub’s Sakran area, two men were shot dead and another injured in an land dispute between close relatives in Khuda Bakhsh Goth village. Police identified the deceased as Sabir and Shakeel, while Irfan was shifted to hospital for treatment. Authorities said efforts are underway to arrest the suspects.
In Dera Bugti, a child drowned in the Kachhi Canal. Rescue teams recovered the body and handed it over to the family.
Meanwhile, in Turbat’s Absar area, unidentified gunmen shot and killed Qasim, son of Noor Bakhsh, a resident of Kolwah. The attackers fled the scene, and police have launched an investigation.
Authorities are probing all three incidents.
