Quetta: Two separate security incidents were reported from Barkhan and Mastung in Balochistan, involving the seizure of weapons and an armed confrontation.
According to local sources in Barkhan, a large group of armed men intercepted Levies personnel and seized official weapons from them. Reports further state that three workers associated with a construction company were taken into custody by the assailants and moved to an undisclosed location.
In a separate incident in Mastung, an exchange of fire reportedly took place between Pakistani forces and armed individuals. Authorities claimed that one armed man was killed during the operation, though further details have not yet been released.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the incidents.
