QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, in a press release issued to the media, stated that Operation Herof Phase Two is continuing even after forty hours, while operations in some areas have been completed.
The spokesperson said that even after forty hours, Operation Herof Phase Two remains ongoing in various parts of Balochistan. Under this phase, after achieving designated objectives in Kharan, Mastung, Dalbandin, Tump and Pasni, BLA fighters have safely withdrawn and returned to their secure hideouts. In areas where the completion of operations has not yet been announced, the situation remains active and operations are still underway.
He said that according to preliminary and cautious estimates, more than 200 personnel of the occupying Pakistani army, police, and Frontier Corps have been killed so far, while 17 personnel have been captured. These figures are conservative, and the total human and material losses suffered by the enemy are believed to be significantly higher. Complete details of the enemy’s losses will be released to the media at an appropriate time after verification.
The spokesperson further stated that so far 18 Baloch Liberation Army fighters have been martyred during the operation, including 11 suicide fighters of the Majeed Brigade, 4 members of the Fateh Squad, and 3 fighters from the STOS unit. Detailed and final information regarding the martyrs will be released later.
In the statement, the Baloch Liberation Army appealed to the Baloch public to remain cautious, maintain a safe distance from the enemy, and continue providing support and cooperation to the fighters in areas where the completion of operations has not yet been announced, as they have done so far. Operation Herof is still ongoing, and further updates will be shared at an appropriate time.
