QUETTA: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has announced the launch of the second phase of Operation Herof, claiming that the process of expelling the Punjabi army and state institutions from Balochistan has begun. According to the organization, victory in this conflict will ultimately belong to the Baloch nation.
In a video message released by the group, BLA chief Bashir Zeb appeared alongside armed fighters, delivering his message in Brahui and Balochi. In the recording, he formally announced the start of the second phase of the operation and urged Baloch men and women to join the struggle.
Addressing the Baloch nation, Bashir Zeb stated, “This is a war of national liberation. No military or state institution of the Punjabi government should remain in Balochistan.” He emphasized that those who participate in the operation today will be remembered in history, while inaction would be recorded as defeat.
The BLA chief also insisted that the group is not extremist in nature but is prepared to go to any extent to defend Baloch land and people. “We have not occupied any nation; Rather, we have been occupied. Our struggle is a just one,” he said.
He further called on the Baloch Nation to actively participate in the resistance immediately, warning that failure to act could result in more casualties in Balochistan’s streets. He described the day as one of sacrifice and said the group is ready to confront the Punjabi forces directly.
Concluding his message, Bashir Zeb urged the nation to remain steadfast, saying, “No matter how many of us are killed, the people should never lose hope and must continue the resistance.”
