Quetta: Three Youth Released After Being Forcibly Disappeared

QUETTA: Three young men who were reportedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces have been released after varying periods of detention, human rights group Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) said.

The released individuals include Owais Qambrani, who was reportedly disappeared from Quetta on January 17, 2025, Jameel Baduzai, taken from Khuzdar on January 1st and Frahad Baloch, who was disappeared from Kharan.

VBMP confirmed their release but did not provide details on the circumstances of their detention. Human rights activists continue to call for accountability and transparency regarding enforced disappearances in the region.
