In Tejaban, a town in Kech district, the families of forcibly disappeared persons ended their protest and road blockade after holding talks with the district administration.
The demonstration had been organized by the families of Hani Baloch, Heer-un-Nisa Baloch, Mujahid Baloch and Fareed Baloch. For five days, the families blocked the road near the Tejaban, demanding the recovery of their disappeared loved ones.
During the talks, the family members were assured by the administration that their concerns would be addressed, prompting them to lift the protest and reopen the road.
Speaking to the media, the families said that if their loved ones are not released or if the administration fails to fulfill its promises, they may resume their protest.
It is worth noting that this is the second time the families have staged such a demonstration in Tejaban, highlighting ongoing concerns over enforced disappearances in the region.
