BLF Says Five Fighters Were Martyred in Drone Strike in Kalat, Pays Tribute

QUETTA: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed that five of its fighters were martyred in a drone strike in Kalat district on December 25.

In a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the group said the drone strike targeted one of its locations, resulting in the deaths of five fighters. The BLF said it pays tribute to martyrs and said they had sacrificed their lives for the cause of the Baloch homeland.

According to the statement, the fighters who were martyred include Abdul Ahad Dehwar (alias Gazain), son of Humayun Dehwar, a resident of Mastung, Israr Ahmad (alias Ibrar), son of Hussain, also from Mastung, Shoaib Ahmad (alias Subedar), son of Muhammad Ali, from Khuzdar, Obaidullah Siyahpad (alias Sabzu), son of Pir Jan, from Kharan and Faisal Badini (alias Qazi), son of Muhammad Ibrahim, also from Kharan.

The BLF said Abdul Ahad Dehwar, who joined the organization in 2023, was seriously injured in the strike and later died of his wounds on December 27, 2025, despite efforts to provide medical treatment. The group said he had been serving as a training commander at a camp in the Shor Parodh area.

According to the statement, Israr Ahmad had joined the BLF in August 2025 and was associated with its intelligence wing, while Shoaib Ahmad had recently joined the group and was undergoing training at the time of the incident.

The BLF further stated that Obaidullah Siyahpad officially joined the organization in November 2025 after previously acting as a supporter and Faisal Badini had been associated with the Baloch liberation Front for nearly two years, primarily working in organizational and intelligence-related roles.

In its statement, the BLF said it considers the five fighters as martyrs and reiterated its commitment to continue its struggle, stating that the sacrifices of those Maryred would not go in vain.
