
Western Balochistan: Four members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed during an armed clash in the border city of Zahedan in Western Balochistan on Sunday.
According to Iranian state media, the confrontation erupted in a border region when IRGC forces launched an operation against what officials described as “militant elements.” During the ensuing exchange of fire, four IRGC personnel were killed.
Authorities stated that a large-scale search operation has been intensified in the surrounding areas following the incident. Multiple raids are reportedly underway to track down those involved in the attack.
