Quetta; The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed that its Saddo Operational Battalion (SOB) has concluded an operation targeting the Pakistani military’s Brigade Headquarters in Nokundi, asserting that all objectives were “successfully achieved.”
In a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the group said that its fighters launched the attack on November 30 at 8:19 p.m., entering the compound and taking control of sections housing offices and residential facilities used by foreign engineers associated with the Saindak and Reko Diq mining projects.
According to the BLF statement, the confrontation with Pakistani security forces continued for 36 hours, during which the group claimed to have taken multiple foreign personnel hostage and inflicted heavy losses on Pakistani security forces.
The BLF added that the operation had now concluded after what it described as the successful completion of its objectives, and stated that a more detailed report would be released later.
