Quetta: Pakistan Railways has once again suspended the Jaffar Express service between Quetta and Peshawar for four days, citing security-related threats, officials said on Saturday.
According to railway officials, operations will remain halted from November 9 to 12, with the last train departing Quetta for Peshawar on November 8.
Authorities have not provided details about the specific nature of the threat. However, train routes linking Quetta with Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have faced frequent interruptions in recent months following multiple attacks claimed by Baloch armed groups advocating independence.
