Khuzdar: The family of Salman Baloch, who was forcibly disappeared three years ago from Quetta, has announced protest activities to mark the third anniversary of his disappearance.
According to the family, a protest rally will be held on November 8 at 3:00 PM from Shaheed Abdul Razzaq Chowk, Khuzdar, where social and political activists, students and members of civil society are expected to join in solidarity with the affected family.
In addition, an online campaign will take place on X (formerly Twitter) from 7:00 PM to midnight, aimed at highlighting the ongoing issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan and demanding the safe recovery of Salman Baloch and other missing persons.
Salman Baloch’s family has appealed to journalists, human rights defenders, lawyers and the general public to actively participate in both the ground protest and the online campaign. They stressed that collective voices are crucial to ending the culture of impunity surrounding enforced disappearances and ensuring justice for victims and their families.
