Quetta: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated operations across multiple districts of Balochistan, including Dasht, Awaran, Turbat, Mand, Kolwah and Pasni, resulting in the killing of eight Pakistani military personnel, the injuring of five others and the seizure of government weapons, along with the blockade of the coastal highway.

According to Major Gwahram Baloch, spokesperson for the BLF, the operations were carried out between 5 and 6 November, based on intelligence reports from the organization’s internal network.

In Dasht (Kech), BLF fighters reportedly attacked army personnel near Kuddan on the evening of 5 November at around 5:30 p.m. while troops were unloading supplies from a vehicle outside their camp. Two separate BLF teams executed the assault one conducting a close-range attack that killed three soldiers and wounded two others and another team shelling the military camp with RPGs and heavy weapons, damaging surveillance equipment.

The BLF claims its fighters safely withdrew after the operation, while Pakistani forces allegedly retaliated by firing heavy weapons toward nearby civilian areas.

The Spokesperson said that, On 6 November, at around 8:00 a.m., BLF fighters ambushed a military patrol in Pirandar (Kenera) near Awaran, killing three personnel and seizing their weapons. The group reports that three others were seriously injured in the attack.

A third attack was reported in Jirik, Kolwah, where fighters fired several RPG rounds at a military post on the evening of 5 November, causing further casualties and equipment losses.

He further said that, Separately, BLF fighters blocked the coastal highway at Shtangi (on the Gwadar–Pasni route) on the evening of 5 November, conducting vehicle checks over a three-hour period. During the blockade, the Assistant Commissioner of Pasni and his staff were reportedly detained but later released after interrogation, while their official weapons were confiscated, and a Buzzer vehicle was set on fire.

In Turbat, the BLF launched another attack on 6 November around 2:00 p.m., firing A1 shells into a military camp in Guhna, resulting in further personnel and material losses.

Gwahram Baloch said, The same day, at 10:15 a.m., BLF fighters detonated a remote-controlled explosive at a security post in Dastchin, between Mand, Koh Dagar, and Goberd, killing two soldiers. The group reported that Pakistani forces later recovered the bodies via helicopter to Mand Soru camp and subsequently transferred them to Turbat.

The BLF stated that these attacks are part of its “organized and ongoing operations” against what it calls the “occupying Pakistani military”, vowing to continue until the “complete freedom of Balochistan” is achieved.

In a separate warning, the group cautioned transport owners and drivers operating along Balochistan’s main highways not to assist or facilitate military logistics, warning they would be “personally responsible for any loss of life or property” resulting from future operations.
