In Barkahan district’s Valley Baghaw Pargarah, unidentified armed men opened fire on road construction machinery around 7 p.m. last night, before setting it on fire, Levies officials confirmed.
The destroyed equipment reportedly included a generator and a grader, both of which were reduced to ashes. Attackers also torched the crush plant, causing heavy damage to ongoing construction work in the area.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
