The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has paid tribute to one of its fighters, identified as Second Lieutenant Jabbar, also known as Asad Baloch, who was killed during an armed clash in Tump on August 6. According to a statement from the group, the incident occurred when BLF fighters attacked members of a local “death squad,” leaving one opponent injured.
The BLF said Jabbar joined the group in 2020, initially working in urban organizational activities before being assigned to the Sarawan region in 2022. He was later transferred to the Makuran region, where the group claims he participated in multiple operations in areas including Bolan, Mastung, Turbat, Mand, Kulbar and Mazan Band. The statement also credited him with involvement in high-profile operations such as the seizure of the Mand Matsing military post and an operation referred to as BAAM.
The BLF described Jabbar as an educated and technically skilled member who handled various assignments within the group. He was originally from Tump and had also studied in Quetta.
The Balochistan Liberation Front, honoring the sacrifice of Second Lieutenant Martyred Jabbar alias Asad Baloch, stated that it has identified the death squad members responsible for his killing and vowed that they will soon face justice.
