Awaran Baloch Freedom Fighters Launch Multiple Attacks on Pakistani Forces in Kohluwah.
Kohlwah, Awaran: Armed Baloch Freedom Fighters carried out a series of attacks today in four different areas of Kohlwah, targeting Pakistani security forces and members of state-backed death squads. Reports suggest the assaults caused both human and material losses to the Pakistani forces.
According to details, the fighters launched heavy weapon attacks on the army’s main camp and the Garari checkpoint in Gishkor. Following the attacks, Pakistani forces and their allied death squad members attempted to encircle the fighters near Madag Kor Pozag. This led to an intense exchange of fire between the two sides, which continued for some time.
Sources claim the Pakistani forces and death squad members suffered casualties, while the fighters managed to withdraw safely. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks. However, it is noteworthy that in August last year, similar coordinated strikes were carried out against Pakistani forces, resulting in significant losses.
Meanwhile, amid fears of further incidents, mobile internet services have been shut down across Balochistan. Observers believe this move aims to prevent coverage of the attacks in both mainstream and social media and to restrict the free flow of information from the region.
